The Leadership Organizing and Action Project organizes Stanford students who dream of a better world to build a sustained and integrated culture of effective, values-based leadership and organizing on campus and beyond by providing a curriculum that guides Stanford students to identify their calling, build strong collective action efforts, and develop a network of on-campus coaches.

Public Speaking Tutor
ENGR 103: Introduction to speaking activities, from impromptu talks to carefully rehearsed formal professional presentations. How to organize and write speeches, analyze audiences, create and use visual aids, combat nervousness, and deliver informative and persuasive speeches effectively. Weekly class practice, rehearsals in one-on-one tutorials, videotaped feedback.

Leader of Stanford's VSOs
There are over 600 different Voluntary Student Organizations (VSOs) at Stanford. VSOs are those organizations: (1) in which membership is not mandatory and is nondiscriminatory, (2) in which membership is both open and limited to current Stanford students registered in a degree-granting program, (3) in which students make all organizational decisions, and (4) whose purposes and procedures are consistent with the goals and standards of the University.
